Someone injured in a crash on Interstate 78 in Warren County was flown for medical treatment Tuesday.
The crash was Tuesday afternoon at mile marker 4.8 in the westbound lanes in Greenwich Township, according to a witness.
The crash victim was flown in a New Jersey State Police NorthSTAR helicopter for medical treatment, the witness said. Traffic was backed up on the westbound side of the highway after the crash.
An email sent to New Jersey State Police seeking information about the crash wasn’t immediately returned.
Responding to the crash were New Jersey State Police from the Perryville station, the Stewartsville Fire Co., the Greenwich Rescue Squad and the Phillipsburg Rescue Squad.
