An outdoor COVID-19 testing clinic in Lebanon County has been extended by two days.
The site will now remain open through Friday.
Free testing is available from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the lower parking lot of the Lebanon County Fire Training Center at 833 Metro Drive in Lebanon.
The testing is on a first-come, first-served basis to anyone who is 3 years of age or older. Patients do not have to show COVID-19 symptoms.
The Pennsylvania Department of Health deployed the community testing to help contain a recent rapid increase in cases in the county.
According to health department data, Lebanon County had an 8.7% positivity rate last week. That was the fourth-highest in the state.
County Commissioner Jo Ellen Litz said more than 350 people were tested in the first three days the site was open, and the percent-positivity rate was 10%.
