A Friday afternoon fire destroyed a Moore Township house in Northampton County.
A neighbor, who declined to be identified, said the family was not injured in the 5:20 p.m. fire reported at their home in the 2700 block of Eckerts Lane.
The flames spread to some nearby trees before being quickly contained by firefighters, the neighbor said.
Firefighters had no further details immediately available.
