Cool Spring Road House Fire Prompts Traffic Advisory | Bel …

BEL AIR, MD — As the fire marshal investigates a house fire in Harford County, authorities advise people to avoid the area.
The fire broke out in the 2500 block of Cool Spring Road around 9 a.m. Wednesday, according to Rich Gardiner, spokesman for the Harford County Volunteer Fire and EMS Association.
Smoke was showing when crews arrived at what was initially reported as a chimney fire, Gardiner said.
Within 20 minutes, firefighters led by the Level Volunteer Fire Company contained the blaze, Gardiner said. Crews from Harford County and York County in Pennsylvania responded.
People should avoid Cool Spring Road for the next several hours, authorities advised shortly before 10 a.m.
