Units from 76, 715, 67 and 84 were alerted for a house fire; during response information was given of possible entrapment and a working fire. Units arrived to confirm the working fire and a male lying in the front yard. Engine crews went to work and made an aggressive attack on this spreading fire, while the truck company opened up. EMS transported the male to the local trauma, where he was later transferred to Shock Trauma in Baltimore. The fire was brought under control in 40 minutes and units remained on scene for close to three hours.

First arriving crews found fire in the basement of a two story storefront building. Command 1410 reported bulk of the fire knocked down and crews checking for extension at the 20 minute mark, and the fire was placed under control at the 30 minute mark.
