Units arrived on scene with heavy smoke through out. Engine 44-1 forced entry and streched an 1 3/4 line through the front. Quint 44 laddered the front of the building. Quick knock by the first in crew. Held to the original fire building with minor smoke damage to the store next to it.

Engine 6 reported heavy fire 3rd floor of a 3 story M/O/R dwelling with reports of an occupant still inside. Placed all hands in service. Camden EMS along with Virtua Medics transported 1 occupant to Cooper trauma with severe burns the patient was then transferred to Temple Burn center in Phila where he is listed in critical condition. B/C Wilson had Command.The Camden City and County Fire Marshal's are investigating.

Engine 25 arrived with heavy fire showing from a 2 story 15x35 occupied dwelling and placed 1 and 1 in service and requested the medics to report to the front of the dwelling. Engine 25 also requested an additional medic unit. B/C 10 arrived with the bulk of the fire knocked down but still had heavy smoke showing, he placed 2 and 2 in service and requested a 3rd medic to the scene. B/C 10 Used 2 and 2. Medic 22 transported a 50yr old female to Temple with 3rd degree burns and was intubated. Medic 15 also went en route to Temple with a 52yr male with 2nd and 3rd degree burns with vitals stable. Both victims jumped from the 2nd floor of the dwelling. The female victim died later at Temple Burn center. FM 21 and 11 on scene investigating. Car 1,3 and PI-3 on the fire ground.

Details:

CMD O/S a 2 Story S/F/D with Heavy Fire showing from division "D", with one patient on the front lawn with smoke inhalation. Ladder 2516 was order to setup in front of the dwelling and stretch 1' 3/4 handline to the rear. While 2512 and in coming companies from Salem County, Logan and Mullica Hill, entered the manpower pull and established a water supply. 2516 went in-service with its main and knock the bulk of the fire down as much of the fire had advance to the attic while crews worked two 1' 3/4 handlines on the exterior to extinguish the fire. One patient was transported by County BLS to local hospital for smoke inhalation, and the fire is being investigated by the Gloucester County Fire Marshal's Office and there was no firefighter injuries reported.
