Details:

Engine 20 O/L with a 3 story vacant dwelling 15' x 45' with smoke on the 2nd floor. Placed a 2 and 2 in service. Ladder 23 was the RIT. Squad 47 and Medic 36 also responded. B/C 11 O/L requesting the box be filled out as crews had fire on the 1st floor and heavy fire on the 2nd floor in the rear. The dwelling was filled with debris. An additional RIT was requested (Ladder 13-6), the other RIT was pulled in for manpower purposes. Rescue 1 responded. B/C 11 reported they were going I/S with an exterior attack as there was now heavy fire on the 3rd floor. A master stream was placed I/S. 2 additional engines (35 & 44) and ladders (25 & Snorkel 2) requested to the scene. Companies eventually made good progress as the fire was placed U/C at 7:20 PM. An elderly woman was found DOA inside the home.

B/C 3 O/L with a 3 story E/O/R dwelling 18' x 35' occupied with a basement fire. Placed a 2 and 2 in service. Ladder 18 was the RIT. Rescue 1 and Medic 25 also responded. B/C 3 then called for an evacuation for the FF's and went in service with an exterior attack. Shortly after, companies switched back to an interior attack and knocked the fire down on all floors and placed it U/C

Central advising incoming units that there were numerous calls reporting a working fire. Originally thought to be at 960 Woodlane Rd. in Mount Holly but the correct address was 11 Melody Ct. in Eastampton. (Across the street). Chief 5001 O/L confirming an active fire, well involved. Multiple companies responded including units from Districts 50, 34, 27, 13, 39, 36, 16, 90, 30. Crews had trouble establishing a water supply at first. Approximately 20 minutes into the incident, CP50 requested a 2nd Alarm to the scene. The bulk of the fire was knocked down around 10:00 PM. Camden County Rehab's 1 & 2 requested to the scene at 10:30 PM.
