Camden Police reported a person stuck in duct work in the ceiling of a Pharmacy the person was injured, they requested Camden EMS and Fire Department, Rescue 1 and Tower Ladder 3 operated to remove the person and bring them to ground level. UMDNJ EMS and Virtua Paramedics transported the patient to the hospital.

6601 arrived on scene with heavy fire through out a one story S/F/D. Command reported multiple lines in service, Tower ladder 62 placed in service with master streams. Used all hand.

Units dispatched for a building fire reported to be smoke in the building. Police went on location with heavy fire and smoke showing and numerous subjects trapped. Crews arrived to find fire showing from the first floor front and rear and went in service. Chief09-9 arrived and requested a 2nd Ladder Truck due to the possibility of occupants trapped inside the structure and also requested a redispatch for a working fire. Shortly after the first handline was put in service on the first floor fire was showing from the 2nd & 3rd floor rear. Due to heavy fire conditions and questionable structural stability a 2nd alarm was struck and crews were pulled out of the building. Several master streams were in service. It is believed all civilians were accounted for.

Engine 84 enroute with Chief 8 on the scene confirming a working fire in a 2-1/2 story M/O/R. The 84 Engine arrived first taking the hydrant at 3rd and Maple Streets securing their own water supply. The 84 Engine crew split advancing two 2" CAFS (Compressed Air Foam System) lines into the building of origin. Visible fire was knocked down but balloon construction had allowed the fire to extend into the attic and into the common voids of the other 3 row homes. Command 8 recognized the spreading fire and had the 2nd alarm dispatched. Engine 87 was next arriving unit with the 84 Rescue arriving behind them. The 84 Rescue crew pulled back up handlines to support the 84 Engine. Truck crews from Columbia and Mount Joy arrived and completed the roof operations making multiple openings. Second alarm Companies started to arrive and went into the exposure buildings and started to open up the void spaces to control the extending fires. All the crews working together had the fire under control in 3 hours. The 84 units remained on the scene until 0247 Hours for overhaul and investigation.

Command reported a 2 1/2 story occupied dwelling with fire showing on the 1st floor and reports of people trapped, the 2nd alarm was struck, 1 victim was removed from the dwelling and airlifted to the hospital, The Burlington County Fire Marshal is investigating.Police are confirming 1 victim dead at the hospital.

B/C 7 Had a 1 story 18x25 dwelling with heavy fire showing. Requested the box filled out and placed all hands in service. Companies rescued 2 occupants from the dwelling. A child was transported to CHOP in critical condition and 1 female was transported to HUP and later pronounced.
