Companies arrived on scene with a school bus into a concrete support of a department store. There were 30 children on board the bus, most suffered minor injuries. Command requested multiple ambulances, also requested additional rescue companies. Rescue crews shored up the building while the the bus was evacuated.

At approximately 2030, Engines 39-1 and 43-1, Squads 43-9 and 39-2, and Underwood Hospital Life Support 2 were dispatched to a motor vehicle crash on Route 55 Southbound just south of Exit 45 (Buck Rd). Initial reports were of 3 patients with one ejected into the roadway, not moving. A man had pulled over to aid a disabled motor vehicle, and while looking in the trunk, the vehicle was struck, and the Good Samaritan was thrown down the highway. BLS 3929 arrived and requested to fly Southstar, but it was recalled when LS-2 arrived and pronounced their patient dead. BLS 4391 obtained one RMA and transported another patient to a nearby hospital. 3929 also went to an area hospital.
