Chief-24 arrived on scene with a two story garage, 20x40 fully involved with severe exposure problem. Special call additional tankers to assist and the box struck. Deck gun and ladder pipe placed in service. Minor extension to the exposure.

CMD O/S of a one story single family dwelling with light smoke showing. All hands going to work, RIC added from 41-1 Clayton. A Fire reported contained to be the walls behind a fire place and in the attic area. Local and County Fire Marshal called to scene for the investigation.

B/C-13 reported heavy smoke showing from a one story building, 100x100. Placed all hands in service. Command reported several autos on fire inside the building. Two firefighters were injured. One fell approximately 15' t 20' from the roof. Transported to the hospital as a trauma alert. The second firefighter was also transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.

Dispatched for a grease fire on the stove in Unit B-4. Safety 57 arrived with nothing showing from the exterior. Once inside Safety 57 found the 2nd Flr of a M/O/R filling with smoke. Safety 57 requested his first arriving Engine lead off with 1 3/4" line. Rescue 69 was added to assist with RIT. Upon arrival Engineer 57 established 57 Command. Command requested an additional Engine bringing Engine 69-4 Units cleared the scene at 23:35.

Companies dispatched for dwelling. 901 arrived to report a 1 1/2 story single family dwelling with smoke showing requesting the box be filled. 946 stretched 1 3/4, E-931 R-938 and E-921 crews vented, searched, located a basement fire. Companies had fire under control in 10 min. CC L-82 for FAST Team. Fire under investigation by Deptford FMO, Deptford PD, GC Fire Marshal's Office, and GC Prosecutor’s Office

Double Fatal Dwelling Fire - Woodbury

Command reported a 3 story wood frame occupied dwelling with heavy fire 1st and 2nd floor rear, placed all hands in service, there was a report of people trapped on the second floor, crews went to defensive. One patient removed by police prior to fd arrival, and was transported to a local hospital, the second victim did not make it out. Multiple hand lines in-service along with master streams. County Fire Marshal and Prosecutors Office On Scene for the investigation, along with local FM and Police. Fire place under control at 03:20hrs. The 2nd victim died 11-22-2008

Fatal Police Car MVA - Philadelphia

A Philadelphia Police Sgt from the 24th District was involved in an MVA with another vehicle while responding to a call, he was removed from the vehicle by Philadelphia Firefighters and Paramedics and transported to Temple Hospital where he later passed away from his injuries.

Command reported a passenger vehicle under the rear of a dump truck with the driver trapped, crews freed the driver and EMS transported to Cooper Trauma. Oaklyn Police are investigating the crash.

On November 17, 2008 at 9 a.m. Camden City Fire, EMS and Police units were dispatched to Princess and Bradley Streets for an M.V.A. Squad 7 arrived and reported a two vehicle accident with one vehicle on its side. EMS requested a 2nd BLS unit for a total of two injured occupants. Engine 10-3 dispatched for a vehicle fire next to 670 Delsea Dr. Engine 1031 arrived to a well involved engine compartment crew went into service with one 1 3/4 hand line, with a quick knock down. Engine 1032 second due assisted with overhaul. No injuries reported.
MVC Rescue - Gloucester Township

Gloucester Twp Squad 85 & Squad 86 - Erial, BLS 805, BLS 677 and Virtua Paramedics were dispatched to Erial Road and Hickstown Road for a motor vehicle accident rescue assignment.Command reported a two vehicle MVA involving two pick-up trucks, one with entrapment. Crews worked to remove the patient from the pick-up truck vs. light fixture. The driver was removed at 17:26 hours. Squad 62 – Pine Hill was special called to assist at the scene and the Camden County Fire Police were also special called to detour traffic around the completely shut-down intersection. Two Alarm Aircraft Emergency - Philadelphia

Engine 78 requested a 2nd alarm for a medium size plane with approx 30 people on board coming in to land with no front landing gear. Engine 78 foamed the runway and the plane landed with no injuries or fire. Battalion 7 recalled the 2nd alarm.
Structure Fire - Collingswood

On November 16, 2008 at midnight Task Force 16(Collingswood’s Station, Westmont’s Engine) was dispatched to the Collingswood High School Football Stadium for a structure fire. 911 received a call stating the box on top was on fire. Police arrived and confirmed a working fire at the press box area. Engine 1613 secured its own water supply on the way in and stretched a hand line up the rear of the stadium to find the sign on top of the press box on fire. Crews extinguished the blaze without fire extension into the press box. No injuries were reported. The Camden County Fire Marshals have the fire under investigation. Story and Photos by Ted Aurig
Water Recovery - Paulsboro

CMD O/S of a capsized boat with four victims in the water. Three hunters rescued from the water, while the fourth hunter was not rescued. Boats and Dive Team call to scene for the water recovery, along with NJSP, US Coast Gaurd.
