Multiple Fatal MVA - Cherry Hill

Battalion 13 reported a 3 vehicle MVA involving a tractor trailer,box truck and a small passenger vehicle, with occupants trapped, Rescue 13 and Squad 13 operated along with numerous BLS and ALS units. 3 people were confirmed DOA at the scene. The NJSP Fatal Accident Team is investigating.

Florece Stations 401 and 408 were dispatched to 622 Pine Street for the dwelling. First arriving police officers reported a garage 50% involved. Chiefs 4000 & 4002 arrived and reported a fire in a single car attached garage. E4012 stretched a line to the garage, L4015 secured the door between the garage and residence and opened up the common wall above the roofline. E 4013 secured a water supply and stretched a second line to the common wall above the roofline. Fire held with 2 Engines, 1 Ladder 1 Rescue and EMS. Coverups by Burlington 303.

Fatal Hot Air Balloon Crash - West Vincent Twp

Units arrived on scene with a hot air balloon down and on fire with numerous burn victims. Command requested multiple medic units and medical helicopters for the victims. The fire was quickly knocked. The pilot was found DOA inside the burnt basket.

Fatal 3 Car MVA w/ Entrapment - Waterford Twp

Rescue 232, Squad 232, Engine 232, BLS 23, BLS 21, BLS 25, Medic 42 were dispatched to a MVA with Rescue. Upon arrival 2302 advised dispatch of a 3 car MVA with 2 seperate entrapments. Rescue Tools were placed into operation on both vehicles via Rescue 232 and Squad 232. Rescue 232 removed the B Post on one vehicle but the victim was DOA. Squad 232 worked on the other vehicle completing a door removal, dash displacement and steering wheel removal to free the entraped victim. The incident is under investigation by the Waterford Township Police Department and the NJ State Police. Special Thanks to 232 Fire Police, 211 Fire Police and the Camden County Fire Police for traffic control in inclement weather.

Dwelling Fire - Woolwich

Station 25 (Woolwich) dispatched on the dwelling, Police arrived reporting working fire. FD Command (25-101) requested the box be filled out and arrived to a 2 1/2 story S/F/D and reported smoke on 1st and 2nd floors. Interior crews reported working fire 2nd floor master bedroom. Interior crews made a quick knock on the fire and reported fire was held to the master bedroom. Command placed the fire under control at 23:40 hrs.

Chief D. Marchei (3900) had a 1 story single family rancher with heavy fire. Tankers were used to set up a water supply and the all hands was struck. A quick knock was made on the fire and Command placed the fire under control. Units remained on location for overhaul and to assit the investagation. A Special thanks to Chief Kinsley (4100) for assiting PFN staff with fireground access.
