FM225-1 arrived on scene with a large commercial building with heavy smoke showing from sides A and C and established Newportville Command. Interior crews reported fire on the C/D side of the building and were able to knock it down with 1.75 waterlines, command held the assignment to E82,E12,E44,E52 and TW14. FM225 is conducting the investigation.

Battalion 504 (Williams) reported a 1 story 20x40 store and restrooms building with heavy smoke showing and fire through the roof Squad 51 secured their own water supply Westville Ladder 736 did the truck work, the fire was brought under control quickly with no injuries reported.The Camden County Fire Marshal is investigating.

Montco Sta 25 (Merion Fire Co of Ardmore) was dispatched to a report of a structure fire with flames coming from the bathroom light fixture. Sta 23 (Bryn Mawr) added to the assignment at the request of Sta 25. Lower Merion 5 reported that police had arrived on location and were reporting a working fire. Deputy 25 (Powers) assumed command and Lower Merion Working Fire Upgrade was dispatched. {Sta 21 (Penn Wynne/Overbrook Hills) FAST, Sta 24 (Gladwyne) Air 24 and Engine 24 (third engine)} Crews found fire in the walls and ceilings of a large 3-story multiple family dwelling. Multiple 1-3/4 inch lines in servce on all floors. Fire declared under control in approximatly 1 hour. No injuries reported to civilians or Lower Merion Fire Department personnel.

L21 arrived to find a two story M/O/R with fire showing from basement wind and heavy smoke throughout. Placed 2 and 2 in service. BC9 struck out the box but Squrt 9 made basement and got a quick knock down of the fire. All searches were negative and there were no injuries to report.

Company 9, Rescue 42, Ambulance04-7B, Medic105 were alerted to the 100 Block of Reese St for a Residential Rescue reported to be a subject stuck on the roof with a leg injury. Chief09-9 Arrived on scene and reported 1 subject stuck on a roof with possible compound leg fracture, and requested Tower5 be added on the assignment. Crews from Engine9-1 & Rescue42 setup a safety line for the stokes basket and packaged the patient and moved the patient back into the residence and then out to the awaiting ambulance. The patient was transported to HUP.
