Bordentown Township units dispatched to area of Route 206 and Elm Ave. for a building fire. While responding central was receiving numerous calls and Bordentown police on scene reporting a working garage fire with 2 exposures, Chief 3220 arrived and placed all companies in service. Ladder 3225 “C” Platoon went in service with 1 ¾. Engine 3212 arrived and secured a water supply and manpower sent forward. 3 hand lines were placed in service with assistance of Mercer Engine 19, 6011(Bordentown City), 6021, 3211 and Bordentown Ems. Fire is under investigation by FM 321

Station 28 was dispatched for a fire alarm at the Eddington House Sports Bar, prior to arriving Bucks County Fire Radio upgraded the assignment to a store fire (numerous calls reporting smoke showing). Asst. Chief 28 AOS and reported smoke showing and placed all hands in-service. Interior crews reported heavy smoke throughout and found the bulk of the fire in the kitchen. FM 2221 is handling the investigation. The apparatus on location were Q-28, E-28, E-16, E-65, L-16, L-37, and Medic 185.

Commercial MVC - Clayton

Details:

Clayton Command had a commercial vehicle into a dwelling with severe structural damage to the dwelling. The delivery truck hit a parked car, then a telephone pole snapping it clean off. The truck then hit a large 18' tall pine tree snapping it from its trunk and leaving it remaining on top of the truck. The truck then came to rest after striking a dwelling and shifting the home approx a foot off its foundation, causing major structural damage. Companies remained on location for an extended period of time for vehicle removal. The driver of the truck fled the scene on foot. No injuries were reported. Special thanks to Chief Kinsley (4100) for assisting PFN.
