Battalion 1 (Rossi) reported a 2 story E/O/R vacant with fire through the roof, placed all hands in service, the fire extended to the 2nd floor of the occupied exposure. Battalion 1 requested and extra Engine and Ladder on the All Hands.The fire was brought under control with no injuries reported.

Engine 2 arrived with medium smoke showing from a 3 story M/O/R 15x45 apartment building. Placed 1 and 1 in service. B/C 8 reported heavy fire and smoke from the 2nd floor, placed 2 and 2 in service and Rescue 1. B/C 8 placed the 3rd and 4th in service checking the exposures. B/C 8 held all hands. Medic 15 transported 1 class 3 to temple and Medic 45b transported 1 class 2 also to temple. FM-21 on scene.

Chief 8 on scene reporting on entrapped. Rescue 8's crew extricated patient. Engine 7's crew secured the hazards. Medic 143 transported patient who was later pronounced dead. Middletown Township PD are investigating the cause of the accident.

Chief Burliegh 3201 reported a 2 story occupied twin with fire showing from the 2nd floor, crews forced entry and knocked the fire down and brought the under control quickly. 1 occupant jumped from the 2nd floor prior to the arrival of the fire department. The occupant was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.The Camden County Fire Marshal and Bellmawr Police are investigating.

Details:

Units arrived on scene with heavy fire in the rear of a two story twin dwelling with a victim trapped on the second floor. Firefighter were able to rescue the victim from the dwelling. Medics transported the victim to the hospital.Crews made a quick knock of the fire.
The fire was ruled arson by fire investigators.
The 85 year old victim died the next day at the hospital.

CMD O/S of a one story strip store with medium smoke showing. Cmd requested the box to be filled, and companies to establish a water supply, and stretch 1 3/4 to the heater room. CMD requested additional Companies from 13-1(Wenonah),9-1(Oak Valley) ,23-1(Harmony),19(East Greenwich) and 10-3(Hurffville)(Equivalent 2nd Alarm). Chief 21 (Terry) arrived to find heavy fire showing from the Alpha/Delta corner of a one story S/F/D.
Engine 21-1 (Captain Prettyman) arrived and stretched 700' of 5" supply line up the driveway and into the scene. The crew forced entry into a sliding door on the Delta side and advanced one 1.75" handline into the house were they were met with intense heat and smoke. Engine 21-4 (FF Hensel) arrived and the crew stretched a second 1.75" handline into the rear of the house. They were also met with heavy smoke and fire.
As crews were quickly put to work, and has the fire was spreading throughout the house, Command requested two additional Tankers
Two firefighters from Station 21 were transported to the Jennersville Regional Hospital with minor burn injuries. Both were treated and released.
