Mobile Home Fire - Valley Twp

Asst. 31 arrived on scene with fire showing from a mobile home. Engine 31-2 went in service with hand lines and knocked the fire in a back bedroom. No injuries were reported.

15 Command reported smoke showing from the rear of a S/F/D. Crews had a fire in the rear, made a quick knock.
A firefighter fell approximilty 10' and land on his SCBA. He was flown via Pennstar to city trauma center. No word on the firefighters condition.

Engine 51-2 arrived on location with smoke showing from a 3 story SFD, requested the working fire dispatch. Visible fire knocked down quickly with a water can, extension to floor and wall voids. 1 3/4" line placed in service. FMs investigating, not suspicious. All 3 West Chester Fire Department companies were in service as well as Good Fellowhip Ambulance.

Asst. 43 arrived on scene with heavy fire showing from the rear of a dwelling with reported people trapped. Command requested the second alarm struck. Crews made an an interior attack and knock the fire. All searches were negative. Used all hands on the first alarm.

Chief 21 (Terry) arrived to find heavy smoke showing from the two story barn. Command reported heavy fire through out the barn, all companies went in service with master stream operations. EMS reported two injured civilians. One was flown via Skycare-1 while the other was transported by ground to a nearby hospital. Mutual aid from New Castle County DE, and Cecil County MD.

Command reported fire showing Division A of a S/F/D. One civilian patient was transported by Skycare with serious burns. Three civilians were transported with minor smoke inhalation to area hospitals, Command switched to defensive operations due to heavy fire conditions.
