Chief 42-9 arrived on scene with a vehicle on its roof against a house with one victim heavily entrapped. Additional rescue crews were called into the scene to assist in removing the victim.
A surgical team from HUP was placed on requested to assist in the extrication. Medics felt a field amputation of one of the lower extremities was needed to extricate the victim. Rescue crews were able to remove the victim and the surgical team was recalled.
