Medic 100 arrived and had heavy smoke showing from the rear of a 2 story twin. Chester 11 arrived and struck the 2nd alarm. Companies had heavy smoke but no fire in the original fire building and exposure. Fire rapidly spread throughout the original fire dwelling and eventually through the roof. Master streams were placed into service on the original fire dwelling. Companies advanced lines into the exposure were they were faced with heavy heat and smoke with no fire. Chester 11 evacuated the exposure dwelling and placed Tower 82 and 14 in to service along with Engine 65's deck gun as well as numerous portable guns. Canteen 47 requested to the scene for Rehab.
