Darby Fire Company No. 1 - Engine 04-2

The Darby Fire Company No 1 has recently placed in to service a 2007 Seagrave Marauder II. The new engine designated as 04-2 is equipped with a Waterous 1500gpm pump, 750 gallon water tank and is powered by a Caterpillar C-13 430hp engine with an all stainless steel body. The truck has seating for 6 Firefighters, an 8KW Harrison hydraulic generator and a Whelen LED package. This truck was originally built for Cardington-Stonehurst Company 36 of the Upper Darby Township Fire Department but due to financial reasons was not delivered and became a demo for Seagrave. The new engine is replacing a 1987 E-one Hurricane engine that is available for purchase. Thanks to Chief Chris Caruso and Gordon Pippin and the rest of the officers and members of Darby Fire Company No 1 for allowing us to do this feature.....
